About me

Hello! My name is Jason Haber from Naperville, Illinois, and I am a dedicated senior at the University of Illinois pursuing a major in Information Sciences with a minor in Business. I was originally an undeclared engineering major on track for computer science and decided to transfer into the iSchool after I saw how technology can positively change our lives and businesses. I am committed to furthering my education, which includes maintaining a high GPA while participating in extracurricular activities such as the national organization of business and engineering.

Things I Can Do

In high school, I played football which developed my teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. I also had a passion for music and was involved in show choir, which is a combination of singing and dancing. Doing both allowed me to stay in a good routine while staying consistent with good grades.

A Few Accomplishments

I made the dean's list at the University of Illinois for four semesters in a row, hoping to continue to do so until I graduate. I was also heavily involved in my fraternity as the role of New Member Educator. One of my roles was to improve new member participation through integration of creative role-playing exercises.
